What facilities do you have for:
Handling?
All parts and components shall be handled safely, and where appropriate, using only approved lifting equipment in such a manner to prevent abuse, misuse, damage, deterioration and contamination.
Storage?
All Products and components shall be stored in such a manner as to prevent abrasion, corrosion, deterioration and contamination.
Packing?
Packing shall be in accordance with the customer Contract or Order to ensure adequate protection, preservation and identification of material during transit and subsequent storage by the customer.
In defining packing procedures, the following considerations are observed:-
(i) nature of material, and the degree of protection required
(ii) identification and package marking
(iii) expected environmental conditions in transit and time spent in transit
(iv) handling and storage both in transit and at the destination
Preservation?
A system is maintained for the identification, segregation and handling of all items through manufacturing.
All precautions are taken to protect material from abuse, misuse, damage, deterioration and unauthorised use. Handling shall be monitored by the responsible supervisor in the particular area.

RFD Beaufort Limited is part of the Survitec Group of companies and is a leader in the design (including integration and qualification), manufacture, servicing modification, repair, installation and inspection of safety and survival equipment for the marine and aerospace industries. This includes strictly regulated life saving equipment for these industries. The range of products is extensive and includes inflatable liferafts, escape slides and systems, lifejackets, aircraft recovery systems, protective clothing including pressure garments and immersion coveralls, body armour, military apparel, protective coverings, textile structures and associated equipment and spares, leisure rafts, work boats, other inflatable structures, specialised submarine escape equipment, anti-G suits and a range of immersion, abandonment and transportation suits for military and civil use. The product range requires the provision of technical publications and support activities.
